Hi. Thank you for visiting Book Finders Home Page We've been trading on the ebay site since April, 1999. And have had nothing but very good responses from buyers. We like selling our books at this auction site. Philosophy We aim to sell only books that can be appreciated, nice condition books, and books that we like to own. We grade as accurately as possible using the Bookman's book grading standards as our standards. Book Grading Policies:-- Like New:-- Better than what might be found at a Book Store Fine -- Clean, bright, No apparent use or flaws Very good -- May be litely used; dust jacket may have lost some of it's original sheen and brightness Good -- Wear and use, lowest acceptable condition. Dust jacket may have a few small tares or chips. Fair -- a few imperfections, use, wear. Poor -- May have major faults, use, wear. (Reading or Reader's Copy)--- in conjuction with other grades less than Fine. To indicate a non-collectable copy. (Binding Copy)-- Book that needs major repairs or replacements. (library copy -- ex-libris) -- book discarded from library. Usually not better than "Good" conditon even if never used. A + or - sign may be used to indicate which side of the grade condition falls on, i.e. very good +, good -. Remember all defects should be noted. Remainder marks, price clips, and owner's signiture should be noted on all grade of books. Faults that destroy the value of a book are underlines and water stains. Fire damaged books are also pretty much worthless copies. Red Flags: Terms such as acceptable, excellent, great shape, and "for it's age" may indicate follow-up details will be needed.
