I am Brad Bell, a 46 year old Healthcare Administrator in Tennessee. I have a passion for collecting. Especially old bottles I dig, Indian artifacts I find in southern Tennessee, and old National Geographic magazines.
I began my collecting passion as a child with baseball trading cards. My Grandmother would give me 10 cents and I would walk to the neighborhood grocer and buy the baseball cards. Before I could get back home I would rip open the package to see if that Mantle I needed was inside. Oh,the bubblegum was pretty good also.
In my early teens my Dad began digging bottles and collecting arrowheads. We would get up early on the weekends and walk newly plowed fields all day. Huh, no wonder I have a bad neck! We would also find old dumps and dig away. It was such a joy to find that old pontil bottle or Indian artifact and hear my Dad explain to me the story behind the find. It was a great bonding time between my Dad and I and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
