I have a lot of different interests and access to a lot of stuff. Not all of it is for sale (or worth selling), but I hope to be able to provide someone with what they've been searching for.
Likewise, I hope to find what I'm looking for.
Why Buy from Me?
Good question. After all, chances are quite good that you don't know me and I don't know you. We'll probably never actually meet and that could mean that you would never trust me.
Of course, if I am to have any hope of selling anything in the future, I have to be honest, fair, helpful, and generally treat my customers the same way I hope to be treated.

There are many different ways that people choose to sell on eBay. Some people like to have a large starting price, or a high reserve, or a ridiculously high shipping and handling charge. Some people are even brazen enough to combine these. That's not how I do business.
I believe in the principles of supply and demand. If I have something to sell, it will almost invariably sell for a fair value if I apply these simple principles:
- Start the bidding at $0.01
- If what I am selling is worth anything, the price will go up.
- NO RESERVE
- Again, the market will set the price. Unless I'm really dead set on a minimum price (which hasn't happened yet), there's no need for a reserve.
- Ship for a fair price
- Outrageous shipping charges are the realm of sellers trying to take advantage of those not paying attention. I use calculated shipping and add a small handling fee. (Usually between $0.50 and $1.00 to cover shipping supplies.)
- Offer combined shipping
- Even if my listing doesn't explicitly state it, I offer combined shipping when it's possible. This means according to weight, packing materials, and a small handling fee (see above for my definition of small).
- Answer questions
- I try to answer questions from buyers as quickly as I can. In general, this means within 24 hours. Occassionally it can be a bit longer, but usually it is much shorter.
If I were doing this as an actual business (rather than just a hobby or trying to make room for more stuff), I would probably set a fair minimum price and may increase the handling charge by another $0.50 or so, but otherwise, everything would remain the same. But don't worry. That's not happening any time soon.
How I Buy
I treat others how I want to be treated. I pay for purchases promptly. If I ask questions, it is after reading through the entire item description. In short, I hope to be the kind of buyer that I want buying my stuff.
