Thank you for visiting the Clarinet Institute store. Our specialty is archiving music of all kinds and we take great pride in what we do.
The Clarinet Institute started out as a small group of clarinetists in Los Angeles who banded together to perform, compose and teach music for clarinet. In 2005, we launched the Institute’s web site (www.clarinetinstitute.com).
Initially, we intended to post only old, rare and out of print music to share amongst ourselves. However, we soon found that people from all over the world were donating pdf files for the archive. Today, the Clarinet archive contains over 480 pdf files for clarinet and clarinet ensembles.
Soon, there were so many people downloading our pdf files that traffic grew too heavy and the server shut down several times. So, we made an offer.... send us a small fee to cover our costs and we’ll send you a disk with the entire library on it.
We started getting requests from flute and oboe players for archives just like the one for clarinet. We now archive music for flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, woodwind quintet, string quartet and string quintet. All with same principle.... send us a small fee and we’ll send you the entire library. After all, we’re archivists.... that’s what we do!
Our library now contains thousands of pdf files. We are constantly adding to our archives as they continue to grow. Got a question or comment? We'd love to hear from you!
Come back and visit us often to see what new music products and archives we have.
