"Branching Out" in Pine City, MN


Twig Basket (magazines, etc.)

"Branching Out" began over 20 years ago when my husband began making "twig" furniture and accessories. We were "green" even before it was fashionable and love utilizing what nature has provided! His twig creations have brought out his creative genius, as I stand by being his worst (or best) critic! His inventory includes chairs, tables, plant stands, baskets, candle holders, bird houses, kiva ladders, shelves and lamps. The branches are harvested on and around our property in rural Pine City, and include willow, alder, ironwood, Norway pine, etc. We have attended many art fairs and enjoyed considerable success in this venture, and met many wonderful people in the process. In addition to twig furniture, and since he needs to stay busy, my husband and our oldest son have started making beautiful sheds to be used as playhouses, garden sheds, or you-name-it. It seems that after recently building two gorgeous houses together, one of which we live in, they still have a hankering to work together and create sheds that will last a life time.

Now it's my turn to "branch out". I have a fondness for lovely old collectibles, and find going to garage sales and auctions interesting as you never know what or whom you may find! So, we have added a new venture in our retired state by selling on ebay. We hope the treasures we have found are just what you have been looking for and may rekindle fond memories of sitting in grandpa's and grandma's house.
