You might have noticed that some of our prices have changed for the better lately. After careful consideration, we've decided to cut our profit margin on some items. During the recent economic crunch we've personally decided to try and bleed every penny for all it's worth, even to the small extent of making our own cheese, laundry detergent and bread so we can go and do a few fun things once in a while. Sometimes the little luxuries are what keep us going and we'd like to help keep your costuming costs low in these hard times.

While some items may appear to be identical execpt for color, we may not be able to change the pricing due to where we get the items.

While you're shopping with us, don't forget that adding new buttons to an old shirt can bring it back from the donation box in your closet. Buttons are a cheap way to give your wardrobe a quick facelift or to add some personality to off the rack clothes!

We also carry some buttons that would look great as jewlery pieces! Just let your imagination run wild!

Who we are...
We're participants in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and hail from the Kingdom of Atenveldt. We have over 10 years in the fashion industry and have been members of the SCA for over 20 years; we thought we might try to bring new buttons and clasps not found at other merchants and craft/fabric stores to costumers.

The buttons and clasps we offer are not handcrafted, although they are quality. During a recent trip to a fashion industry trade show we picked up a few new suppliers, so keep an eye out for new items coming soon!

Due to recent concerns about the environment and shipping costs, we've opted to reduce our packaging, which has the added benefit of reducing shipping costs. However, this also means that we can no longer accept returns except for manufacture defect or significantly not as described items. All orders over $100 qualify for free shipping!

We're also introducing a gift wrap service that will be available in our store along with the option of purchasing shipping upgrades.
