About Me
I have been a member of ebay since Wednesday, Mar 15, 2000 . I really try to make every transaction pleasant and I try to provide really nice stuff for buyers. It's hard to sell something that I wouldn't be interested in so I try not to.
FAQ: What do I DO with cameos I buy from you?
Most of my buyers use the products they buy from me to make their own wonderful creations that they then sell at craft shows or in shops or perhaps in their own ebay auctions. Unless I specify otherwise, the cameos are UNSET, meaning they don't have a pin on the back and they aren't in ANY type of setting. While you can just use crafting glue and glue on a pin setting, I don't think that provides a finished look. I would really recommend getting a setting. Sometimes I have them for sale but a number of other sellers also offer settings.
FAQ: What does 40x30mm mean, sizewise?
You'll see that most of my jewelry supply auction list the sizes in metric terms, not standard inches. Here's an explanation that may help you if you aren't sure how big 40 millimeters is:
All sizes are approximate. Cameos are not exact, quite often
there will be a difference of several millimeters in a "40x30mm" cameo.
40 x 30mm = 1 1/2" x 1 1/4"
30 x 22mm = 1 1/4" x 1/2"
25 x 18mm = 1" x 1/2"
18 x 13mm = 1/2" x 1/4"
43mm = 1 3/4" across
General Information
I charge $1.50 for the first JEWELRY-RELATED item, then .50 for additional items shipped together, up to a maximum of $2.50. I think it's fair, and sometimes I have shipped orders with actual postage of $10. But I'm happy to sell that much to one person so you won't hear me complain!
I don't have a handling charge for items that go out via Priority Mail, since the supplies are free (except for packing peanuts and bubble wrap). I do have a small charge for items that go via regular Mail since I have to buy envelopes (which are very expensive, even if I buy them in bulk) and bubble wrap. Unlike some sellers I don't look to pad my profit with handling expenses. Personally, I am appalled at what some people charge to send out an item and I don't think it's fair to the buyer. I know that I always carefully check the shipping before I bid on any item and I don't bid on anything that has exorbitant shipping charges. It's the seller's right to charge what they want; it's my right not to buy from those people!
Clothing
I don't sell any clothing that I wouldn't wear. I check everything carefully and if there are any blemishes I will tell you. But sadly, I am only human so occasionally I miss something. If you buy something from me and there's a flaw, please let me know and we will work it out.
If you buy something from me and it turns out to be defective then you can return it. If you decide you don't like it after all, sell it on ebay like I would do!
I strive to be honest in my dealings with other ebayers and I think 99% of the people on ebay are really wonderful people, both buyers and sellers. I think eBay is a wonderful place and hope you like my stuff!
