Hello Everyone,

  My name is Pepper and this is my 4H club Flying Hooves. They are a dedicated group of children who are concerned with the welfare of our Equine friends. They have adopted White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue for their 2008 year and have already been out collecting items they need and money for the upkeep of all the residents. They recently were able to go over and meet the owners and enjoyed a day of meet and greet with the horses(the oldest is 47!) and their caretaker Libby. Our club is into several things aside from horses. They include a seperate dog club Barkin' Buddies, agriculture ,sewing, Relay For Life, cooking,and community service of anykind.  Recently all three divisions Senior, Intermediate, & Junior placed first in our Horse Bowl competition.( Horse Bowl is like Jeopardy) Our Senior team has qualified to represent Central District at 4H Congress,at Virginia Tech in June. We couldn't be more proud of all they have accomplished!

       As for myself I have ridden horses all of my life in several different diciplines.  I grew up in New York rode anything and everything I could learn on! Therefore I teach the kid's more than one dicipline  so they don't limit themselves. They are all very well rounded in everything from , Jumping, Hunter, Western Pleasure, and Gymkhana. Occasionally I list items the club no longer needs and use the proceeds to support their riding. Recently they have taken on the task of having a Drill Team!! They would like to compete in this event at the State Show this year so I guess I need to find matching everything!!!
