Will It Fit? It is not possible for you to rely solely on the size of the tag, as with all vintage and new brand name designers use different standards, which is why we always provide measurements for you! All garments measured when laid flat. If the garment stretches, expands or is adjustable the smallest and largest measurements are stated in the listing. Here is how we take measurements:
Bust: Under arm seam across chest/bust to the other under arm seam and the # doubled.
Waist: Middle of garment where the waist would be or where the item tapers in. Measured across and the # doubled.
Hips: Measured at the area where the curve is most outward... but where the hips would be. Measured across and the # doubled.
Length: The garment is measured from the absolute top to the absolute bottom. Straps included if the garment has any.
Sleeves: From top seam to very bottom cuff.
Rise: From cross seam of crotch to top of pants.
Inseam: From cross seam of crotch down to the bottom of the leg.
Shoulders: From seam to seam.
