Welcome to our "About Me" page...

Who are we?  Well, we are a couple who live in Kansas, USA.  My name is Chris & I am English & my husband, Adam, is American.  We met (what seems like a lifetime ago) in 1996, on the Internet...  we must be one of the success stories because we celebrated 11 years of marriage in Dec & we now have 2 gorgeous, fantastic children &, quite possibly one of the most passive, friendliest, most tolerant dogs on the planet - our westie, Dylan.
And Mischief Number 2!

I am a stay-at-home Mom & (as most SAHMs will agree) it is tough to manage on just 1 income, especially after having 2 incomes & no kids to worry about.  So, I try to figure out ways that I can earn a little something to supplement the household income.  I have a little business selling advertising specialties (you know - printed pens, hats, mugs & such like) but that has proven to be rather seasonal - better in the early spring & summer than the autumn & winter, but this eBay thing seems to be just what I have been looking for!

I recently got hooked on selling (& buying!) stuff on eBay & am currently in the process of clearing out the kids' closets & selling all their outgrown clothes, toys & gear.  I am only selling things that still have lots of life left in them...  you know - only things I would buy for my own kids.  Anything that is not saleable, I am donating to a good cause (I give a lot of things to a couple of teenage sisters we know who both had babies in Jan this year & anything they don't want goes to the local charity shop).

I am a proud member of the Children's Clothing Boutique Board.

I have also just found something else that helps me save money when shopping at ebay & a whole bunch of other online stores, promotes my ebay store & provides a community of other like-minded people.  I would encourage anyone who is interested in saving money to check it out today.  Oh & its free, too!  BigCrumbs - there are some big crumbs out there - don't you deserve a bite, too?
