How we got started

I have a number of squad radios in the PRC-68 family and needed a way to power them that was more economical than the surplus batteries on the market. After much research I found the key components and started a design and ordered parts. While waiting for the parts for the 68BA battery adapter the 5BA was designed and prototyped, minor changes made and the first 50 5BA battery adapters for the SDU-5E strobelight were ordered and sold via eBay and my web page.

The main products made by PRC68.COM are battery and antenna adapters to support military surplus equipment.
