Our Story
Pinson founded eHappyHome in 2000 as the online division of Happy Home, her
parents' successful store dedicated to upscale housewares for the home cook.
A Family Business
It all started when Pinson's father Baruch and mother Elka were expecting their
youngest child, Bluma…
Baruch Pinson was a partner in a hardware/houseware store, and decided to
open his own store carrying practical, traditional housewares. Baruch Pinson
drew an international crowd with his reputation for friendliness and patience
and his ability to understand every customers needs.
Elka Pinson, a doctor of psychology and mother of eight, helped Happy Home
expand with her flair for style and passion for cooking family meals. Her
discriminating taste informs the selection of cookware, bakeware, and decorative
serving items and gifts at the store.
Today Happy Home boasts not only its original retail outlet and online sales
division, the company recently annexed a second level of its building to house a
cooking school.
Their children, family members and
friends all help out at the store, especially around holidays.
