I still love collecting for its own sake and haven't forgotten how I made my start on ebay more than 8 years. I will do my best to make your eBay transaction with me pleasant. While I am doing this for profit now, I do not pursue profit at the expense of integrity and fair trading. As I have always done, I strive to fully disclose everything i know about the items I sell.

I claim no great expertise in grading and evaluating items, but I do try to be conservative. I'd rather have you pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. For sports cards, I do have a fair number of PSA-graded sports cards that I do rely upon as standards for determining grades. For other items, I do my homework and disclose every flaw that I identify and provide enough high-quality scans and photos to let you judge for yourself.

How I Do Business
The market is king: I rarely set a reserve, try to keep my minimums low, and let you set the price. I recognize that eBay is mostly a wholesale market, not where you try to get the highest book value listed in the latest price guide. If some items seem pricey, that is only because I have a substantial investment in it, or my consignment customer has insisted on a minimum price.

I want to be delighted when I buy something, and I want you to be delighted when I sell something. I will go to great lengths to avoid giving or receiving poor feedback, and my record shows that. My descriptions are complete and honest, and my packaging is careful. It's much easier to avoid problems than to try to fix them later.

If there is a problem with delivery or you believe the item doesn't match my description, you tell me how you want it resolved. I've had my own problems with sellers who don't deliver what's promised, and I understand how difficult those situations can be.

I accept just about any form of payment, including personal checks, paypal, money orders, and cash. Paypal generally ensures the quickest delivery. Very rarely will I delay shipment, even if you pay by personal check (unless it's something really scary like a temp check).

I have tried selling to international bidders and have unfortunately found it to be time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. Therefore, I do not accept bids from anyone outside the United States: if you do not have a US address, please do not bid. I will make exceptions for Canadian buyers who will accept shipping by UPS Standard or for bidders who can provide a U.S. address.

About shipping: I do my best to charge fairly for shipping. I use UPS almost exclusively for packages and the US Postal Service for books, small, and low-cost items (such as stamps and baseball cards). If I've selected UPS as the shipper for a particular item, do not bother asking me to send it by USPS - I've had too many packages lost or damaged by the US Postal Service, and their insurance claim process is unbearable. The tracking and assurance provided by UPS are well worth the extra cost. I do charge a small handling fee on most auctions, to partially offset the various costs of running auctions and shipping goods. I also combine shipping for multiple lots. If I overlook your multiple lots, let me know and I'll make the adjustment, but please recognize that all items must be invoiced and paid for together to get a shipping discount.
