~~Buffy1301's Auctions~~
Hi, my name is Jessica, and I am an ebay addict. I sell my stuff, my relative's stuff, my friends stuff and who knows, maybe one day my hampster Fluffy will be in need of some cash and then I can sell for him too! :-) Also, like any true ebayer, I buy everything I can on ebay.
Why do I like ebay so much? Well...let me explain:
- I get a lot more money back on selling my used stuff than I would at a yardsale or pawn shop
- I help the environment by passing along, rather than trashing my pre-loved goods
- I can work in my underwear...not that I do..it's just nice to have that option
- When buying, I am guaranteed to find the most unique whatchamacallit out there, which is great for conversation
- I get packages in the mail!
- There's no overhead, especially since I'd own a digital camera and computer anyways
- It gives me a good excuse to go yardsaleing (they might not know what that 50 cent metal thing is...but I do)
ABOUT MY AUCTIONS: I just kinda sell stuff. I am not a store, just one person with lots of junk and a seemingly endless sea of packing peanuts. I love seeing my buyers go away happy and to that end, I always strive for smooth enjoyable transactions. If you read my feedback, you will see that I do have a few negatives -- such instances are the results of speedbumps in my self taught ebay education or interactions with very particular buyers. I pride myself on being a very reasonable gal, so if there are ever problems before or after an auction, I do my best to figure things out with the most fair result for both parties. I understand why bigger sellers feel the need to have pages of "fine print" in their auctions. For my auctions, I feel this to be unnecessary. I respect my prospective buyers enough to trust that they will not take advantage of me. And, if such an instance does occur, well, that's why ebay created the feedback rating system. Anyways, eBay's supposed to be fun, so let's all just have a good time!!!
ABOUT ME: Basically, I am a starving college student and eBay has solved many of my money problems for me. For those of you who are interested -- I am in my senior year of study at ISU. My major is Psychology and my minor is Philosophy, but, I really just want to be a Massage Therapist so that I can have enough free time to work on my plan for saving the world. Hopefully, when I get my M.T. Certification, I can open up my own business and use eBay as a backup income source until I get a steady customer base. Who knows though -- that's two years from now. I could just as easily end up a monkey researcher in south Africa. Or not...but you get the point.
