The new eternal Life.
In todays world it is so hard to know truth from lie, but I tell you that there is no better life than a life of faith in Jesus who is Yeshua in Hebrew. He came down from Heaven, leaving His throne and glory, so that He might live as a human man, He was tempted in every way we are (to steal, hate, take revenge, lust, fornicate, adultery, break the law, etc) but did not sin. Because He is fully God and also fully man we see that God is not some entety far, far away like so many people portray Him to be. He knows Himself from experience the trials and difficulties of temptation and so is sympathetic to us when we sin. The bible says that there is no greater love than when a person lays down his life for a friend. Jesus, son of God, suffered and allowed Himself to be crucified by His own creation so that 2000 years later you and I can repent of our sins, and becaue He has died already, we no longer have to be punished for our sins, because He has paid the price for our sins Himself on the cross. All we have to do is repent and accept the free gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus.
Are you a Good Person?
Maybe your saying "wow this guy is a nut" well then let me ask you a question. Do you think your a good person? If you said yes, let me ask you a few questions but if you said no based off your own conscience and what you have read above, skip to the bottom of this page. For the rest of you answer this:
1. Have you ever stolen anything, no matter how small it was?
If you said yes, what does that make you? A theif right!
2. Have you ever told a lie? If you said yes, what does that make you? A liar right!
3. Have you ever taken the name of the Lord in vain? Using it as a curse word? If you said yes, what does that make you? A blasphemer right!
4. Have you ever looked at a woman (if your a guy) or a man (if your a girl) and lusted after them (desired them sexually)? If you said yes, what does that make you? An adulterer at heart!
So if you answered yes to these four questions you are a Lying, Thieving, Lustfull, Adulterer at heart and if God judges you by the ten commandments, four of which you already know you have broken do you think God will find you innocient on judgement day? Ofcourse not, you would be guilty and would be sentenced to spiritual prison for your sins, we call it hell. But wait, there was also a bail set for your release from the prison called hell, but the bail is higher than you could ever pay or afford. There is one person who already paid the debt for you and me though, that is exactly what Jesus did on the cross, He paid for the sins of all humanity, so that if you repent and accept Him as your savior, you will be found innocent on judgement day, your bill of sin will show it has been paid in full and heaven will be your destination.
You can make that decision today, just say this prayer "Lord Jesus, I repent of all of my sins, forgive me for living my life in disobedience to you, forgive me for all my sins, I accept you Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior, help me to live my life for you, the way you want me to with the help of your Holy Spirit, and write my name in your book of life, I thank you for dying for me, and I love you, in Jesus name I pray, Amen"
