My wife and I adopted our first rabbit Molly from Lollypop Farms which is a local animal shelter. My wife had 3 different rabbits while growing up but this was basically my first rabbit. Molly was very grumpy when we first got her but she warmed up quickly. We later adopted Pepper from a family who did not want him anymore. With our two rabbits we now needed a larger cage and I built the first one in the style I now sell. We had previously made Molly a cage made completely of wood and galvanized fence. Since it was an indoor cage it looked bulky and out of place. It resembled a hutch that should have been outside and not in our house. The style I'm selling now looks great indoors and using wood in the construction is kept to a minimum. A couple years later with a random stop to LollyPop we came home with a third rabbit, Petunia. Molly is no longer with us but she was definitely the best rabbit ever.

The cage worked out great for us and we had many compliments on how professional it looked. When I noticed similar cages being sold on Ebay I decided to try my hand at selling. Because a rabbit's needs aren't quite like other caged pets these cages work better than anything else out there. Our rabbits don't like slippery floors and they never go into the kitchen or bathroom where there is linoleum. So I used carpet on the upper levels and wanted to have the base level easy to clean. Plus wire bottomed cages are terrible on their paws. I make these cages mainly as a hobby, but I've never seen any other cage I would rather use for my rabbits.
