Burgess Auction is a company that came into being due to our LOVE of auctions. Our family loves to go to auctions on weekends. We began to have a lot of "extra" items stack up, so we tried selling off a few things to clear out the basement. It quickly built up into a business in itself as we kept running across great deals and we'd think "SOMEONE must need this Ford taillight, and this brand-new water bed mattress...."
We have since moved our business from the laundry room, to the complete basement, then to the warehouse we built for it. We sell on eBay and other auction sites, we have an eBay Store Burgess Auction DEALS, and our own website store www.BurgessAuctionDEALS.com
We still prefer to offer liquidated items at low starting bids, but we're also adding brand new items as buyers have expressed interest in professional tools, small appliances, & holiday items.

Our Descriptions
We purchase items from estate auctions and business and industrial liquidations. All items are USED and sold As-Is unless otherwise noted. Because we sell a variety of items, we are not experts in most items we sell. Please ask questions to be sure you will be happy with your purchase. From our feedback you can see that we describe accurately, but we can make mistakes. A polite email will go a long way in getting any problem resolved quickly.
Payment Details and Agreement:
CheckOut:
We use Kyozou CheckOut on all items. Kyozou is an ebay Certified Solutions Provider and does not ask for or accept your credit card information or passwords. Kyozou checkout is where you will get the chance to look at all shipping options and make your choice and/or combine orders for lower shipping costs. You also let us know what address the item will be shipped to and what payment method you plan to use. Payments are then made securely and directly with your payment choice. By using the Kyozou checkout, your Winning Auction #, Our PayPal Address, Bid Amount, & Shipping Amount are made available to PayPal so that when you log into your account, PayPal can grab this info from the order so you don't have to fill it in.
Payment Methods:
- VISA, MasterCard, Discover & American Express These are processed through our own Merchant Account, not PayPal. (Authorize.net You access it through our CheckOut)
- PayPal *US Confirmed Addresses Only
- US and CANADA Buyers may also pay with Money Orders in US Funds.
*ABOUT PAYPAL:
PayPal has their own rules and regulations for payment and shipping that we must comply with or face monetary penalties or freezing of our account.
- US Buyers: we must have a confirmed address and we MUST ship to that address only. If you pay with a Credit Card or any other means, we will be happy to ship your item to any address you like!
- INTERNATIONAL Buyers: Because of the restrictions in what shipping methods may be used to qualify for Buyer/Seller Protection on international orders, we have chosen to no longer accept PayPal on non-US purchases. We have set up Credit Card processing for VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express to make the payment process as easy as possible for all Buyers.
