How long will my guitar take to get to Canada ?

 It generally takes about 4 weeks for a guitar to get to Canada from here via Airmail Parcel Post. It takes 7-10 days to get to Canada and another 2-3 weeks for the guitar to clear Customs. We ship hundreds of guitars each year to Canada and the shipping time is nearly always the same.

How can I track my shipments to Canada , Europe, England, etc.?

Because we ship almost 100% of our out of country parcels using the US Postal service there is no way to provide tracking information on parcels going to other countries. We get a Customs declaration shipping number and a US Postal insurance number but these are not items that can be used to track packages. If you need tracking we can do UPS worldwide expedited but as an example a guitar to England via Parcel Post airmail costs $79.10 to ship and a guitar via UPS worldwide expedited costs $203.00 to ship.  

Your auctions seem to offer both a 7 day or a 10 day return priveledge. Which is it?

We offer return priveledges on 95% of the items we sell with the only exceptions being some consigned items or some items that are specifically being sold as-is.  Here is the reason we have 2 different amounts of time in our warranty statement - We offer a full refund of 100% of your bid price on almost any item for 10 days from the day the auction has ended or 7 days after you receive the item --- WHICHEVER IS LONGER.  If it takes 2 weeks to get your item you still have 7 days from the day you get it to see if you like it. If you get it in 2 days you still have 8 days to look at it. That gives all buyers plenty of time to examine any item and covers return rules for all 50 states.

Who pays shipping costs on returns?

The buyer pays all shipping both ways on any returned item.  Eastbay, Toys R Us , Land's End , Brookstone and most other mail order companies work the exact same way. If you don't like an item we will gladly take it back but you must pay all shipping. We do our best to present accurate, detailed information about every item we sell. What do I do if my item gets damaged in shipping?

 While we pack all items very well and double box all guitars in special boxes that are custom made for guitar shipping, sometimes items do get damaged in shipping. If you insure your item and it gets damaged or lost we will give you an immediate refund as soon as we have verification that a claim has been approved saving you the 4-6 weeks it usually takes to get paid on a claim. You must save all packing materials and contact us via email or phone immediately when you notice damage. Do not ship the item back to us. The shipper will pick it up. We will help you with the claim or if you are uncomfortable starting a claim we can even start a claim for you. If the package appears damaged when it is delivered make the driver make a note of it just in case. WE ARE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO UNINSURED ITEMS.

Do you offer discounts on multiple item purchses?

Heck yes! We will be glad to combine any items you buy to give you the best shipping price available . Also, we can usually ship a case with a guitar for no additional shipping charge. We can often fill a guitar box with lots of other things like music books, guitar stands, picks, strings, straps, and more without increasing the shipping cost at all.

Can I pick up my items and skip the shipping charges altogether?

Yes. We don't make our profit on any fake shipping or handling charges so you can always pick up any order from us and pay no shipping or handling fees whatsoever.

What forms of payment do you accept ?

From US or Canadian buyers we take every form of payment allowed by eBay and if you pick up the item we can also take cash. Paypal is our favored payment portal but we also take checks, Money Orders, and just about any credit card you can think of.  Exception - On orders out of the US or Canada we only take major credit cards, cash, Cashier's checks or Money Orders drawn on US banks , or approved money transfers.

Will my guitar come with a case?

Guitars, ukes, banjos and other instruments rarely come with cases included. If there is a case included it will be mentioned in the listing and pictured in our photos. We do have cases avaialbale for seperate purchase with most guitars and we can ship a case with your guitar for no additional shipping cost.

Do you buy items or take trade ins?

Yes we do but we must physically see every item we buy or take in trade so you need to call us at (660) 679-3500 to speak to us before sending us any trade ins or items for us to bid on. If we don't take an item we will not pay to ship it back to you.

Can I look at any items in person before I bid ?

Yes ! Yes! Yes! Please come to our warehouse and retail store any time we are open. Since we are not a drop shipper and we have everything we sell in stock , you can always look at anything we have listed on eBay. Our store is at 103 W. Dakota Street in Butler, Missouri ( right off of Highway 71 south of Harrisonville) and we are open on Monday - Wednesday from NOON-6:00 , Thursday & Friday from NOON-8:00, and Saturdays from 10:00-6:00.  Call us at (660) 679-3500 for directions or for more info.

Are Washburn "B" stock items covered by the factory warranty?

Washburn "B" stock items are not covered by the factory warranty but we warrant them to be as described and they are very well made guitars that should last for several years from the date of purchase. All blem and new Washburn items are covered by the full Washburn lifetime warranty even if they are discontinued items.

How quickly after receiving payment do you ship?

We ship either on the business day or the business day after your order is received. WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS SO OUR FIRST BUSINESS DAY OF THE WEEK IS MONDAY. We ship over 100 orders a day Monday & Tuesday so if you pay over the weekend or after 2 pm Friday your item may not ship until Tuesday. Each other day , if we receive the payment beofre noon your order usually ships the day we receive it. Also, we do not ship on Saturdays. 

How much is shipping insurance?

If you have us ship via UPS the first $100.00 in insurance is covered and each additional $100.00 costs 60 cents. If you have us ship it via the US Postal Service the first $100.00 in insurance costs $2.50 and each additional $100.00 is $1.10 .
