Hello, thank you for visiting my store. I make all of by jewelry and glass items by hand. I design all of my own items, and much of my work is one-of-a-kind. This is because I am restless, and have more design ideas than I can make.

I started making jewelry to sell about 40 years ago. I've been selling at arts and crafts fairs, and wholesaling to retail stores for most of the years since then. Living in the mountains, I was happily silversmithing, and chopping firewood to heat my house. After about 15 years of this, my elbows became very sore and I had to stop both activities until my elbows recovered. So, I went back to college and became an accountant. Now that I have started my craftwork again, knowing accounting is a great benefit.

My education; I studied ceramics and jewelry in college, and gemology through the Gemology Institute of America home study course. I earned Certificates in Colored Stones, Gemstone Identification, and Diamonds. I highly recommend the GIA courses to anyone who works with or is interested in gemstones or jewelry design. Most recently, I taught myself how to work with kiln-fused glass because I love dichroic glass.

Pinecones and Other Stuff

The other things I sell are the result of my environment and my love of miniatures. As I search for miniatures, I find I can never pass up a real good bargin. I find the available space in my house is shrinking. The logical solution is to resell some of my treasures. It's a whole lot more cost effective than putting on an addition!
I was surprised by the number of buyers who want pinecones, but I am not selling them right now. It's been very wet and cool this year, so there are not as many good cones on the ground. Also, collecting and selling cones is time consuming, low paying work.

I try hard to identify my resale items so I can provide acurate information in my auction listings. I am always interested in hearing from folks that think they know something about one of my items that I may have wrong. Also I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
