We have worked hard to earn our eBay feedback. We go out of our way to make sure that the item pages are fair and accurate descriptions of the items. We really appreciate buyers who respond promptly to e-mail, so we always try to do the same.  Having seen some auctions from the buyer's side, we always try to treat eBay buyers the way that we would want to be treated ourselves.  Some would call our business model old-fashioned, but after all, we are a Texas company...some things just come with the territory.

History
Like so many great companies, Cable Solutions was born out of necessity.  In the years before the popularity of home theater, the founders of Cable Solutions were engaged in the business of computer-related consulting.  That company was called Computing Solutions, and if you look for it, you can still find some computer-related services on our website.  Before home theater became a household phrase, the buzzword was multimedia.  Computing Solutions did some multimedia projects, including video conferencing and media rooms.

At some point, one of our computer services clients asked us if we could also build a home theater.  We had about as much experience with such things as anyone did at that time, so we took the job.  We did some of our earliest jobs using cables sold by a well-known manufacturer, but quickly discovered that we were not getting the performance that we wanted.  Worse than that, some samples of the cables worked fine, while others did not.  They were not consistent.  Inconsistencies cost money and credibility.  We recognized that we needed something better than the cables that are marketed to consumers.  We needed professional quality.

As luck would have it, our founder just happened to be acquainted with a local video guru - a fellow who has authored a number of technical reviews for The Perfect Vision and Widescreen Review magazines.  He suggested that we consider Canare, Belden, and some of the other broadcast and professional product lines.

We took his suggestion and started building the cables for our custom installers.  After mastering the skill of building custom cables, we observed a high level of performance and excellent consistency.  At some point, someone commented  that our custom cables were so good that we really ought to offer them to everyone.  It seemed unlikely, but we listed some of the cables on eBay, just to see what would happen.  Well, people bought the cables, and they liked them.  They liked them a lot.  And they liked the way that we treated them. Cable Solutions was born, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We still offer consulting services for home theaters, as well as computer-related services, but today, most of our business is in home theater cables and accessories.  We started out with nothing more than an idea, but now, we have the wisdom that comes only with experience.  Thanks to all of our great customers!
