Overview
– About Cambridge Odds and Ends
Hi, let me introduce myself: My name is Petra and my husband Andy
and I have been buying and selling on eBay since July 2001 - actually
that is more Andy. I joined him a bit later in 2003. Until August
last year it was more of a hobby for both of us, but then I decided
to quit my job as an Export Manager in a Customer Service Department
and try to sell on eBay full-time. So far the decision has been a
good one. I love my new job and the opportunities I have created. And
not only from a selling perspective:
Last Year I spent 2 month travelling in Australia and New Zealand.
In Australia I made some fantastic trips taking me from Perth to
Monkey Mia, through the outback to Alice Springs (on this particular
trip we had a brilliant guide called Sharon and if you are interested
in her work, check out here or visit www.ontracktours.com.au), from
Adelaide down the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne and finally to
Sydney. As I am a big "Lord of the Rings" fan a visit to
New Zealand just had to be part of the agenda. All in all it was an
awesome experience.
And all this time Andy took care of the ebay shop and he did an
excellent job. I am very grateful for his help. Otherwise I would
never have been able to make a dream come true.
Now that I have introduced myself a bit, following I'd like to
share with you how I work:
Within 24h of an auction item closing or you purchasing an item
I will send you an invoice, which details all aspects of the payment
as well as any details required to make the payment. If you pay by
cheque or postal order (UK buyers only) I will send an email to
confirm receipt of payment. I usually post everything that has been
paid for up to the previous day Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On
the day of dispatch I will send you an email to confirm that your
item has been posted. Once you receive the item and are happy with
the complete transaction, I'd appreciate it, if you would leave
positive feedback for me and I'll gladly return the favour.
Should you have any issues with the item or any other aspect of
our transaction, please contact me immediately as I would very much
like to try and resolve any issues - rather than finding out in my
feedback score that you were unhappy with my service.
If I am not contacted within 7 days of the auction closing/the
purchase being made, I send a reminder followed by an Unpaid Item
Reminder. I require payment within 7 days of the auction closing/the
purchase being made. However, if you have changed your mind and
rather not go through with the transaction PLEASE contact me and we
can mutually agree not to complete the purchase. I'd much rather know
what is going on and leave positive feedback at the end (yes, I will
do that if you even if you don't want the item any more as long as
you contact me!)!

NOTE: My main e-mail account is "pellew.ebay@gmail.com"
- some providers may block this by default to prevent spam from
getting through. If you don't receive an e-mail from me please let
me know an alternate e-mail address.
