We do not submit our coins for grading but instead offer our customers a chance to own these coins in their original government packaging. Q: How will my package be shipped?

We use the United State Postal Service exclusively for all of our shipments. In most cases we use PayPal's shipping tools so that the tracking of your item is linked with the auction.

Q: How can I tell if my item has been shipped? Where is the tracking?

You will receive an email from PayPal when your item has been packaged and is ready to be submitted to the United States Postal Service for delivery. In most cases your item will ship within five business days. To follow the progress of your shipment, go to the eBay auction page for your item and click on the ‘View Order Details’ link as shown in the screenshot below.

On the following page there will be order and shipment information. Find the section that looks similar to the picture below and click on the shipping link to get an update from the USPS. The USPS web site may take up to 48 hours to update.

United States and Territories:

In most cases, if the package weighs 13 ounces or less, then a bubble mailer and first class postage is the most effective means toward getting your items to you safely as well as keeping your shipping costs as low as possible. If the item is heavier than 13 ounces, or requires special handling, then a sturdy cardboard box or a USPS Priority Mail box is used. In all cases delivery confirmation is included. For high value items signature confirmation is also supplied.

All other countries:

For shipments outside the United States, I have found that bubble mailers are processed through customs much easier and faster than boxed packages. I have also found that international shipments tend to take more of a physical beating.If the value of your item is less than 100 USD I will ship your item in a bubble mailer using USPS First Class International Mail. For items over $100 I will ship in a sturdy cardboard box with USPS Global Priority Mail.

What about insurance?

For shipments in the Unites States and its territories, insurance is always optional. For USPS Global Priority Mail shipments, 100 USD worth of insurance is included at no extra charge. If the cost is more than 100 USD additional insurance costs may be necessary. USPS First Class International Mail does not offer insurance as an option.

Will I have to pay import duties?

If you are outside the United States and its territories then there is a good chance you will. Check with your local import regulations for more information. Please do not ask us to lie to your government about the contents or the value of your shipment.

Q: How long will my package take to arrive?

Domestic

In most cases first class mail will be delivered in 5 to 7 business days. Priority mail is usually delivered in 3 to 5 business days. Sometimes I have seen longer delivery times without any apparent reason for the delay.

Other Countries

Shipping times vary greatly. USPS Global Priority Mail is reliable in 5 to 7 business days. For shipments to Western Europe I have seen a little as 3 days. USPS First Class International typically takes up to two weeks.
