My name is Jean Lafontaine. I have collected and studied Canadian stamps for more than 30 years and have specialized in errors and varieties of the Elizabeth era. My name has also been associated with an in depth research of the definitive stamps of 1972-77 and I wrote a few articles on the subject in Philatie Quebec. Over the years, I had membership in the RPSC and the BNAPS but I am no longer member of these honourable societies. I am also life member and past president of the local club in Boucherville [Province of Quebec, Canada].
