I am a professional artist living in Toronto area (Ontario, Canada). I work from my home studio and sell most of my artworks online.
I've been selling my paintings on eBay for four years, starting from 2004, and I thank eBay for giving me an excellent place to promote my art.
In the Fall 2008, eBay changed some of their rules and algorithms, making my paintings "drowned" in the sea of cheap mass-produced copies. I thank eBay for that move, too, because it forced me to take a break from the "daily painting" marathon and concentrate on my website.
