My "Colorful cane" with beaded dangles

CreativeCanes.com
Officially on eBay, I'm known as "caneartist." At home, people call me Nancy. I came up with the name because I now custom decorate walking canes to suppliment my disability payments from the Federal Government.
In a "previous lifetime," I worked as an RN at a large VA hospital in Milwaukee (Zablocki Center). I have a weird bone disorder that has left me with 60 spontaneous stress fractures and 1 fracture as a result of a fall.
Anyway, as a result of the surgeries to my left leg in particular, it was necessary for me to use a cane.
I looked at drug store canes, but what a joke! All I saw were plain, drab aluminum canes that not only drew attention to my fractures, but also made me look OLDER! Heavens!
So I started to put my own ideas on the cane with the help of many beautiful papers, which are then decoupaged on.
In just a couple of days, I was becoming filled with ideas on what to put on a cane! To see examples of my art work, check out my website, www.creativecanes.com. If there is something you see you would like recreated, or have you own idea, contact me through eBay so that I can make it and then list it on eBay. If you send an email, make sure the word "cane" is on the subject line. If it isn't, your message may be tossed out by my spam filters.
