"About Me" .....what a difficult subject to write about!
I'm a fifty-something woman, a compulsive artist, devoted mother of two amazing people,
a totally captivated grandmother of three adorable little boys, and a doting daughter of the best parents in the world.
I live on the coast of Maine in Rockland, within sight of the busy harbor.
I get to play with fire and melt glass and call it work! I've got to be the luckiest woman ever!
The end result of my fun is beads. I'm always experimenting with different kinds of glass and different techniques
and styles. I draw inspiration from nearly everything I see, art, nature, illustrations (guess that art too) textiles,
dishes....kids toys....anything can send me scrambling to the torch, bursting with ideas to transform into glass.
I'm known for my little sculptures and many of the beads inspired by reading books and playing with my grandsons, but I also
love stones and flowers, anything autumn, and anything to do with the ocean.
The diversity of my interests is reflected in the many styles of my beads.
I'm a perfectionist (Virgo) who loves miniatures and intricate detail, so my beads are often complex, though I also
appreciate the beauty of stark simplicity. Sometimes glass is at it's most beautiful when it's unadorned and the beauty
of it's color and reflective qualities take center stage.
I put a lot of my heart and creative soul into each bead I make and I hope that you enjoy the beads as much as I
love making them!
Almost forgot the most important information!
I've been selling beads on eBay and on my website since 1999 and still have a 100 percent positive
feedback rating on eBay.
I try my very
best to make sure my customers are satisfied, and even more, that they feel special. My beads are all about joy and
