               Car Chem Online is dedicated to giving everyone access to our own line of Automotive Cleaning and Reconditioning products.  We manufacture all Car Chem products ourselves in the Metro-St. Louis area.  Before the creation of this store and the new website, no one but profesionals had access to our line of products, especially outside our truck distribution area.  Our mission is to give everyone access to our professional products for the first time in over 20 years.  We are also certified distributors of many other products in the automotive reconditioning field.  We carry all of our products in stock, which means that we usually ship within 24 hours of when an order has been placed.  From us you can expect the highest quality products, best product knowledge, great service, and a highly competitive price.  We strive to serve our customers in any way we can, and hope that you get to experience why we have been so successful for over 30 years.

            Huelsmann Distributing Co. was founded by Herman Huelsmann in November 1976, in Trenton, Illinois, with one truck. Herman started selling product having 6 routes in a 100 mile radius of Trenton. Selling primarily car soaps, polishes, tire repair & additives. In January 1978, Kevin (son) joined the business adding the second truck and more routes. Later in 1978, Vern Langenhorst joined Hueslamnn Dist., adding a third truck in 1981. In June 1982 Scott (son) joined the business and opened up the St. Louis Area. In 1985 Herman was forced to go on disability and Mary became the sole proprieter. In November 1986 we starting formulating our own products consisting mostly of cleaners & dressings. Car Chem Products was the name chosen for our line as our trademark. In February 1987, Dale (son) joined us taking over the northern routes and also south to Mt. Vernon. In April 1988 Huelsmann Distributing Co. became a Corporation, Mary as President, Kevin-VP, Dale-Tres., Scott-Sec. (Somewhere in this time frame) Huelsmann Dist. added a complete Body Shop line. At the present time we are adding a complete line of Automotive Paint (that we mix ourself). In May 1993, Lori (daughter) came to us as Operations Manager. Then in October 1997, Linda (daughter) joined as our Administrative Assistant. We are now in business 30 years and cover more than 200 square miles. We also have distributors in Decatur, Illinois, Paducah, Kentucky, St. Louis, MO, and some eastern states.
