It's just About Me

Welcome to "Carey Country" is a phrase I have used for many years.  I simply love to craft and sew!  I have been making dolls, animals, rugs, painting and quilting some fifty years now. I started as a child in my local "4-H club" and have continued throughout my lifetime. 

I have introduced a new line of "Scented Hearts" inspired by a buyer.  I will be making different scented hearts with the most favored scents requested.  This has been great fun.  Look for my Christmas garlands in near future.  Can't wait to experiment with evergreen hearts to add that nostalgic warmth to that season! 

I love to keep tradition with my crocheted rugs as I learned to do this at an early age and think these almost a lost art.  My grandchildren are showing great interest in all my projects and I hope to pass my desire to create to them.  There are so many talented people on E-bay and it has inspired me to be here as well.
