Hello, and welcome to the studio of Carol Huddleston. I am a professional artist with formal training, and have been painting steadily for many years. I have a strong interest in the genre of still life painting, with some of my influences being Janet Fish and Wayne Thiebaud. My style varies from very detailed to quick, loosely painted studies. I'm particularly interested in glass and color, so you will see a lot of that in my work. I also occasionally paint from the figure (primarily nudes), and also enjoy painting animals and plants.

I have formal training in the arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, and the University of Washington Certificate Program, as well as assorted single classes or workshops when time and money allows. My work has been shown in juried shows in the Pacific Northwest and I continue to push myself to improve with each piece.
