Our Background: Carsand-Mosher Photographic was created through the merger of Mosher's Studio (which had been in operation since 1948) and Carsand Photos in 1970. Initially owned and operated by Carson and Marianne Yorke and a partner, Carsand-Mosher Photographic has evolved into a family business run by seven children of the Yorke family.

Although the original emphasis had been as a portrait studio, the wide range of expertise and interests of the family has led to the development of a thriving and diverse retail and service operation that still maintains an emphasis on a "one-to-one" approach that comes with growth from small beginnings. At the same time, our experience as professional studio and commercial photographers has been one of our strengths as a large photographic retailer and service provider in that we still understand the needs of photographers from first-hand experience.
