| Carsley Whetstone & Company can be of service, whether you have a single item or an entire collection of: modern and estate jewellery, coins, fine art glass, antiques, or contemporary silver, as well as vintage pop culture collectables like comic books and trading cards.
We have a wide group of regional and international clients, who are constantly seeking fine quality antiques and collectables. This enables us to pay top market prices.
For decades, we have been in business offering an efficient, friendly and courteous service. We can help you distinguish whether the entire estate is of major value or whether there are single items that are worth a premium. |
Alexander Carsley founded Carsley in 1928, and was an early pioneer in the Montreal numismatic community. He built a family business, with a storefront to serve collectors. This business grew over the years and was relocated to St-Catherine Street.
In August 1999, Carsley was purchased by Thompson & Whetstone, a Montreal company that since 1989, has been engaged in buying and valuating estates and private collections. The two companies were merged, and operations were amalgamated at our current address.
