| I hope by now some of you have seen an auction or two of mine, I'm a pack-rat and I gotta lotta stuff. I need to raise a little cash to build a workshop for my main hobby WOODCARVING I'm just crazy about it. The problem with that is that I do it all over the house, the kitchen, mostly the living room, but sometimes at the dining room table, and on the front porch, my wife is kinda getting tired of woodchips and sawdust all over the carpet, now as much as I enjoy being a pack rat, she has finally convinced me that IF I take and start to weed out some of the stuff I've had the longest and play with the least, I might be able to afford to build a shop to set up my tools and stop making a mess on her carpet, ( wives, go figure -eh?), So I thought what the heck, she has had a good idea that has worked once or twice before, (especially if I'm not too overly excited about it, it seems to work the best { WHAT? ME GET RID OF SOME OF MY TREASURES?!?} So here is where we stand, I'm putting stuff on eBay, until I reach a point where I can't part with anything else, but that should take a while , people ask me what I collect, I have a very specific list, people ask my wife she just says what doesn't he collect, he has the largest collection of collections I've ever seen. Now I'm not saying I'm the number 1 pack rat in the world, in fact, I think, I'm pretty bush-league, but my wife thinks if I'm not #1, I'm probably at least 3 big piles of junk ahead of whoever is #3. |
