We have always been avid readers, and at the beginning of 2005 we decided to share that passion by starting this store on eBay. We mainly purchase and resell, as well as a few new ones here and there.
We have also been avid RPGers since 1984. It was only natural to include that hobby in our store as well, so we also sell Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures and gaming books. We may expand into other games as well, but for now that is likely what we will stick with.
We are also huge fans of Star Wars and decided to recently begin selling Star Wars miniatures in our store as well.
You can find our Condition Summary Scale at the bottom of most of our auctions, but here it is again for you to review. Please understand that this is our condition summary scale. While we try to be as objective as possible, the condition we give the books is, by it's very nature, subjective. As such, that is why we include this scale, so you can see what it is we are grading the books against.
Condition Summary:
NEAR MINT – Book is flawless or near flawless, but obviously not new. Book may have very minor wear, including things that could easily be found on a book store shelf. Could include very minor spine creasing, very light finish rubbing, or very slight edge and corner wear, but not more than one or two flaws.
VERY GOOD – Book has some minor flaws, possibly more than one or two, but nothing significant. Flaws may include: light finish rubbing; light corner, cover and/or edge wear; minor reading creases to the spine; very minor spine lean; superficial corner creasing; pages may have just begun to discolor or yellow; name or book store stamp inside.
GOOD – This is our grade for average used books. The Book has several flaws, but is completely readable. The book may have one or two minor repairs, none of which are significant. Flaws may include any of the above, as well as: some damage, but book is sound, with nothing missing; short closed tears; light cover scuffing; some corner, cover and/or edge wear; minor spine lean; fading or page yellowing; light, superficial stains. Books in this condition are not likely of collectible quality.
FAIR – Book is below average used quality. Book is readable, and nothing critical to the text is missing, although book may have some damage and/or a number of flaws. Flaws may include any of the above, as well as: damage, although book is still perfectly readable; tears, normally repaired; cover scuffing and creasing; significant corner, cover and/or edge wear; significant spine creasing; spine lean; page yellowing; stains. Additionally, this book may have had a brush with any of several elements (soil, water, fire, etc.).
POOR – Book is well below average, and is likely falling apart. Book will be readable, although it may be disbound, and may even come apart more. Book will have significant flaws that will include any of the above, as well as: several significant tears, possibly repaired; significant cover scuffing and creasing; heavy corner, cover and/or edge wear; significant spine creasing, spine cover may even be worn off; significant spine lean; heavily stained; book has had more than just a brush with several elements. Please note, we will not likely sell any book in this condition unless it is part of a series and we are unable to locate a better copy.
