Welcome! I am so glad that you dropped by to "meet the artist"!

A little about who I am. I am an artist, a mother of three, a wife of 26 years. I am a sister to five wonderful siblings. I was blessed with two of the most wonderful parents anyone could hope for. They are in heaven now and I thank God for the gift of their lives everyday.

I was born and raised in Texas. (Hopefully I will depart this world from Texas! I NEVER want to leave the Lone Star State!) I love the place where I live, I love this time in my life. I am very proud to be an American!

I have so many blessing to be thankful for, but the greatest blessing is that Jesus Christ is my center...center of my life, center of my family, and center of my business. If I am successful in anything I do, it is BECAUSE of Him! I am SO thankful to God and give Him all the glory!!

God blessed me with a love for art! I have always enjoyed expressing my heart and soul through my drawings, paintings and most all kinds of creative mediums.

On my 13th birthday, I was given my first set of paints, brushes and a stack of canvas from my parents. I was SO thrilled! From childhood to now, I have evolved over the years, from stick figures on walls and to paintings that hang on walls! I passed through the 60's with "peace signs" and "flower power" painting on everything from clothing to my friend's cars! (Am I THAT old?!)

Today,I find I am where I love to be the most...painting the imaginations and fantasies of children on canvas, wood and more!

I think all children need a special place to be in this big ole world...one that is truly JUST for them! Perhaps it's in a magic castle high upon a hillside; in a far away jungle filled with funny animals. Maybe they are steering a race car that is whizzing along a track or running through a fairy filled garden and swinging from a giant flower stem. Kids need a place to go to dream in, to "make-believe" to their hearts desires...their own special hide-a-way! I try to create magical and bright colored artwork to be hung on the walls of children's rooms that will take them to those make-believe places! Hopefully my young customers will be whisked away, if only for a few moments out of each ordinary day or night, to a place that will bring smiles, even giggles to them....catching their breath as they fly through the windows of fantasy that my creations open up for them.

I believe that parenthood is a privilege given to us by God. Each child is a jewel in our crowns given to us in life. I adore my own three jewels! It is my desire to work closely with other parents, grandparents, and friends of children, who choose to put their confidence in my artistic abilities to create artwork that will bring smiles inside of their children's young hearts. I always take care to listen to your desires, hopefully to come as close I can to making the dreams of what YOU WANT to hang in your child's room come to life! By taking samples or photos of the wonderful choices that you have made in your child's bedding and accessories, I use them to inspire a work of art that will coordinate and compliment your child's room.
