Welcome and thank you for your interest in my Me page. This is a little summary of my background and how I became interested in selling Catholic-Collectibles on eBay.   

        I am a practicing Catholic, a former Catholic School teacher for over twelve years. Although I enjoyed teaching all subjects, the most important was Religion, and I was appointed as Religion teacher to grades 5 through 8.  The children loved learning about their Catholic heritage, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm about their faith continue to grow.  Because children love to sing, before long I was teaching my classes  traditional hymns, including Latin favorites to sing at Mass.  Parishioners would ask for the school schedule of Masses so they could hear the children sing the tried and true Catholic favorites they knew and loved!  

        As Missions Moderator for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith and Holy Childhood Association and Religious Coordinator for many years, I sold holy cards to the children, to raise money for the missions.  As a collector of vintage holy cards, I wanted to introduce this most enjoyable hobby to the children.  Before long they were more excited about their own holy card collections than about sports cards!  Years and years later, I hear from former students, mentioning that they still have their holy cards and how much they treasure them!  I have some pictures of the children proudly displaying their albums which you can see on my website.

          I am grateful that I had the opportunity to help pass on the faith to my students throughout the years.  

          And now, it is heartening to pass on beautiful Catholic items  that will inspire people of all ages.           

          I have been selling Catholic items on Ebay since 1998.  I started as a buyer, and it was exciting to win so many wonderful Catholic devotionals.  Eventually, I decided to sell some of the things I had bought, and with that income, I bid on other Catholic Collectibles that I wanted even more.  In the process, I found that it was not only thrilling to win an auction, but it was also a joy to be able to pass along Catholic devotional items to others who wanted them very much.  It was great fun, spiritually rewarding, and I was supplementing my Catholic school teacher's income at the same time!  I wanted to list more and more of these beautiful and unusual Catholic Collectibles!  That is how my business began.
