First off, I want everyone to know that the lampwork I sell is made by me in my home studio. It is NOT made in other countries, imported and then sold under a false studio name. Seems there is quite a bit of that happening now.
Second, I would like everyone to know that because I love the little green witchy that I use on my webpages, I am NOT a satan worshipper. The witchy actually looks like me and with all the critters she has, I feel a kinship.
I just love bright sparkly objects. I think if I buy one more glob of glass, my DH just may lock me away in the loony bin.
I also enjoy making beaded Art Dolls. They are usually donated to worthy charities and auctioned. You may have seen some of my work in previous issues of Bead & Button magazine. I will be adding more pics of them to my website soon. Be sure to check out the 2003 Make A Wish Doll at my website. She was donated to the Make A Wish Foundation and auctioned.
On the family side, I have been married to my Soul Mate/Hubby for 22 years. He retired from the Air Force after 24 years of service in October 2003. We have a 16 year old daughter that has her drivers learning permit. ACK!! I'M NOT READY! All I can say is "everybody get off the sidewalk!!" We have many finned, furred, feathered, scaled and now shelled pets. I will be adding pics of our pets to my website soon.
Some people may wonder just what I do with all my ebay income. Since all my income is legally reported, a big portion of it goes to good ol' Uncle Sam. And the State of California takes their share. Don't forget that Ebay, PayPal, Staples, Vendio and a bunch of other companies all get a cut of the pie. With my share of the pie, I buy more business supplies, and family supplies. I.E. Food, gas, electricity, car parts, and a large chunk goes to the Money Snarfing monster I call my Daughter. This is not the most profitable business that I have owned, but it sure is the funnest and most satisfying.
