Hello, my name is Carole Dawn Brinkley. I go by Carole Dawn (it is a southern thing). I live in West Virginia, Wild and Wonderful! I am a polymer clay artist, and an art doll artist. I have fallen in love with color and textures, and have started making my own beads and jewelry in addition to handmade art dolls.

I have a wonderful family. Husband Chris, son Andrew (who will be a teenager in October!!!) and daughter Alexa (who is 11). We live in the mountains (actually the Kanawha Valley, but it looks like mountains to me). I have a business in which I train teachers, preschools, and nonprofit organization in education, leadership, and administration. That web site is www.leadingthefutue.com.
In my business and in my art I do a lot of charity work for kids and at-risk families, and for breast cancer awareness. My mom is a suvivor so I have to fight for her! I ofter have auctions that raise money for the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month so I donate a portion of all of my auctions that month to the foundation. Please check out my auctions.
I teach polymer clay, altered art, and rubber stamping at a local arts and crafts store and at other bead and craft stores. My beads are carried in a bead store in Nags Head, North Carolina.
