A Little About Me
Thank you for visiting my ME page. I have been in sales and shipping for many years, both as an employee and, for the past 7 years, operating my own business. I have sold and shipped items as simple as books and CD's to items that are complex such as dish sets and guitars. In all my years of packaging and shipping items, I have had very few items that have been damaged during shipping.
A Little About My Auctions
Item Descriptions
I sell a wide variety of items. These include CDs, books, games, collectables, and just miscellaneous items. For each item I sell, I try to describe it as completely and thoroughly as I can in order to help you, my buyer, make an informed decision on the item. There will be times that I list items that I just don't know that much about. I will try to describe as best as I can, but will let you know in my auction, that I am not very knowledgeable on that item. In these cases, it will be up to you to decide if I have given sufficient information. If not, please contact me with any questions.
Shipping and Handling
I include shipping and handling in all of my auctions. Generally I will use the shipping calculator to provide you a shipping total based upon how far away you live from me. I always use USPS shipping and I will always try to include the intended method of shipping. In some cases, I will offer multiple methods of shipping - one lower class of shipping (parcel post or media) and a quicker, more expensive method (typically Prioirty Mail. When I do this, I try to list my recommended method as the first option, and the alternative as the second option. You have a choice of using either one.
In addition to postage or carrier costs, I include a handling charge. This handling charge covers packaging materials costs and labor associated with packaging and shipping. In addition, a small amount is charged to cover my "Guarantee". This guarantee makes it unnecessary for you to purchase separate insurance on your items.
Typically my handling charge will range from approximately $1.00 (books, cds, etc.) to around $3.00 (board games and other medium sized items that do not require complex packaging. For complex packaging, multiple item lots, or very large items, shipping may be higher than this. I do not include in my handling charge profit (except for the labor charge related to packaging); item cost; ebay fees; or other charges that are related to the item itself.
I have done my best to calculate the shipping and handling. Once an item has been listed and has a bid, the S/H is firm. There will be no negotiation on the amount. Please read my auctions carefully and agree with all the terms before bidding.
A special note on combined shipping. I will combine shipping wherever possible when you purchase multiple items. The combined shipping is calculated based on the combined weight of the items plus a handling fee per item. The handling fee per item is reasonable, but when multiple items are combined together, the handling fee on the total package may appear high. Be assured that the amount of savings that you will gain on purchasing muliple items is quite significant, and I am willing to quote a combined shipping total prior to your bidding.
THE AMOUNT THAT I CHARGE FOR S/H WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS WHAT IS SHOWN ON THE POSTAGE STICKER. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO COMPARE MY AUCTIONS TO OTHER AUCTIONS FOR THE SAME ITEM. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE SHIPPING CHARGE AS STATED IN THE AUCTION, PLEASE DO NOT BID. I would rather lose the sale than have an unhappy buyer.
If you have special needs that require a different shipping method, please contact me prior to bidding. If possible, I will try to accomodate and will quote a S/H for alternative shipping methods. I reserve the right to refuse any requests for alternative shipping methods that I either don't feel comfortable with or would be an inconvenience to use.
Guarantee
Because of my experience in packaging and shipping all types of items, I feel very confident that you will receive your item as described. As such, all items I ship are guaranteed to be as described when you received them. This included protection from lost or damaged items in shipment.
Should you receive an item that has been damaged, please contact me immediately. I will refund or replace at my option. Refunds will include item price as well as the S/H charge. If I ask for an item to be returned, the return shipping charge will also be refunded.

Feedback
I strive to provide my buyers with 5 STAR service in all categories. I try to provide a complete and accurate description of the product; charge only a reasonable amount of handling, commensurate with the amount handling performed; ship within 3 days of payment (normally within 48 hours); let my buyer know when their item is shipping; and work with the buyer in the event that their is an issue with the item. Bottom line is that I try to make the buyer pleased with the overall transaction.
I leave feedback when the transaction is complete. By complete, I mean that the buyer has received the item and is satisfied with the transaction, or in the event of a problem, the buyer has worked wth me for a satisfactory resolution. For a smooth transaction, the easiest way for a buyer to let me know that they have received and item and they are satisfied is to leave feedback. A buyer can also let me know via email through the eBay message system. I will leave feedback as soon as possible after that.
