Bear Family is probably the most important reissue label in the world right now for boxsets of music from the 30s to the 70s. They concentrate on country music, but also have a number of boxsets devoted to pop, R&B, and rockabilly.

I always include Bear Family in the auction title because it's synonymous with the highest quality. I have sold boxsets in the past where the buyers weren't even familiar with the artists' work - they bought just on the strength of the Bear Family name alone. The boxsets are always in the 12X12 inch format, with up to 16 CDs, and include a same-size booklet or book which can range from a 24-page softcover booklet to a hardcover book with over 500 pages, including numerous rare photos, a discography and liner notes by an authority on the artist's work.

Find "Bear Family Label" in the left frame and then browse by clicking on the letters of the alphabet, which correspond to the first letter of the artist's last name (e.g. Louis Prima would be in the P section, Johnny Cash in the C's).
