Me & What I Collect.
Over the last few years I have been in search of new encased coins for my collection. I collect US, Mexican & Canadain mint issues extensively. Have coins from over 250 different countries past and present and continue to collect annual silver bullion issues from all over the world. Love silver rounds and bars along with elongated cents. Another effort is locating tokens with the name "Spencer" displayed while adding new material to my "West Virginia" and "Georgia" collections: woods, tokens, medals and encased along with some scrip. Along with my love of collecting is my love of sharing my hobby with others and invite anyone who cares to take the time to talk shop to do so. Have anything to trade, let me know. 

There are only a few things that really riles my dander and one is when sellers gouge costs for their so-called S&H or those who will not state their S&H in their auction at the get-go and will only let know what it is after the auction is over. To that I say BULLS***. I refuse to bid on their auctions since I consider it the highest form of abuse, bordering on dishonesty. If my fellow bidders will follow my lead, this kind of cheat will find it harder to compete with sellers who conduct their business in an above board and fair manner. I have found some sellers lately offering so called .999 and sterling pieces in their auctions that are nothing more than cheap silver layered base metal pieces worth absolutely nothing. BEWARE!! They are out there everyday.

Also, there are sellers of encased coins who auction pieces with replaced coins who do not state so in theie description. Some even go far as allow the viewer to believe that the piece is original. This concludes my sermon for today.....Cecil
