Do I need to be pre-qualified to bid on this auction?
Yes, in order to help ensure a smooth and successful auction experience, all bidding activity for the
La-Z-Boy Celebrity-Designed Recliner Charity Auction to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation will be pre-qualified. If you wish to bid on this auction, please follow these quick and easy steps:

Pease note: Please make certain to verify yourself ahead of time, as we are unable to guarantee
your ability to place a bid in the last 24 hours of the auction if you are not already Pre-Qualified.
You must also place a credit card on file with eBay or be ID Verified for bids exceeding $15,000.00.

 Pre-qualification process:

1) Send an email from your eBay registered e-mail address to: LaZBoyVerify@PRCnet.com or you may
call us directly at 800-941-8472. We’re available seven days a week from 9:30 A.M. – midnight EST.
2) A member of the Bidder Pre-Qualification Team will call you at your eBay registered phone number.
If you will not be available at your eBay registered phone number within one hour, please include the
alternate phone number where you can be reached.
3) Our representative will ask you for a valid credit card number over the phone. This will be used to
verify your identity and will not be charged. You will also be asked for the maximum amount for which
you would like to be pre-authorized for all the auctions in this promotion, so you may bid on more than
one auction. You may use a credit card or bank account number for this pre-authorization. Please let
the representative know the item numbers you wish to bid on. PRC will be available to pre-qualify
bidders from 9:30 A.M. – midnight EST.
4) As soon as your identity and pre-authorization amount has been confirmed, you will receive an e-mail
notifying you that you can begin bidding on the listing or listings you have chosen.
5) Should you intend to bid in amounts of $15,000.00 or over, you will also need to be ID Verified, which
could take up to five days, so if you are not ID Verified already, it is beneficial to complete this as
soon as possible. Click here to register for ID Verify. Or you may place a credit card on file with eBay.

PRC, the company handling our pre-qualification process, is working in conjunction with Kompolt &
Company Online Auction Management Agency on the La-Z-Boy Celebrity-Designed Recliner Charity
Auction to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Please remember that all eBay bids are binding. If you do not intend to complete the transaction,
please do not bid.

 How many of each celebrity-designed chairs exist?
There have been three sets of each chair created, however, only one of each is available to the general
public and it can be bid on at this eBay auction.

Will my La-Z-Boy chair come with a Letter of Authenticity?
Yes, a Letter of Authenticity signed by a representative of La-Z-Boy and EGPAF will accompany each
chair.

What else comes with my La-Z-Boy chair?
Original sketches of chair created by a La-Z-Boy designer will be included with the chair. Sketches are 8 x 11 and framed.

Is bidding open internationally?
No, bidding is only open to the U.S. and Canada excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

I’ve won the auction! What happens next?
A representative of Kompolt & Company will be contacting the winning bidder via e-mail or phone to
congratulate him or her as well as confirm payment amount, sales tax and payment instructions. Buyer
must complete payment within 10 business days of the close of the auction.

How can I pay for my La-Z-Boy chair?
We accept the following methods of payment: money orders or cashier's checks. Money orders
and cashier's check must be payable to "EGPAF". Sorry, no personal checks.

Is there any sales tax?
Yes, all applicable state and local taxes will apply at the time of purchase for California state residents.
The total, to include sales tax, will be provided to the winning bidder at the close of the auction.

Is this purchase tax deductible?
Only amounts paid over and above the fair market value ($1,599 for the Jennifer Aniston chair, $1,599
for the Courteney Cox chair, $1,099 for the Lisa Kudrow chair, $1,499 for the Matt LeBlanc chair,
$1,299 for the Matthew Perry chair, $1,299 for the David Schwimmer chair) of an item received from a
charitable organization would constitute a charitable contribution and therefore be tax deductible.

Will a tax deductible receipt be provided?
Yes, a receipt for the final bid amount paid will be provided by EGPAF for tax deduction purposes indicating
what amount of the donation is tax deductible.

Who pays for shipping and how will my item be shipped?
La-Z-Boy will pay all shipping and insurance costs. All items are shipped via ground shipping, therefore
the winning bidders must provide a physical address (no P.O. boxes!) and phone number, and be aware
that a signature is required for delivery.

When can I expect to receive my La-Z-Boy chair?
After final payment is received, and subject to unanticipated conditions, the expected delivery time is
two to four weeks.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
