Dogs in Paradise is the creation and partnership of Stan Sternberg and Susan Wolf Sternberg, who are also partners in life. Dogs In Paradise is a collaborative effort, Stan contributing his artistic and computer skills, Susan combining her business savvy with her understanding of, commitment to, and lifelong love affair with dogs.

Dogs In Paradise Fine Art Prints are signed limited edition dog portraits painted by Stan. Working with a digital tablet and stylus from his sketches and photographs, Stan digitally creates an original impressionistic watercolor dog portrait that captures the full vitality, character and essence of his subject.

Stan's paintings are not like ordinary photographs. When you stand back from them, you see a great deal of detail and vivid sharpness of forms. But when you view them close up, the detail disappears into a jigsaw of seemingly unrelated shapes and colors. This is the opposite of a photograph, where the closer you look, the more detail you see. The visual impression portrayed in Dogs In Paradise is of a dog that approaches perfection. The JPEG images shown on eBay auctions can scarcely convey the beauty of the original prints. Each image is 11.5 by 15.5 inches, or 16 by 20 inches matted. Only the finest archival pigmented inks and 100 % cotton acid-free watercolor paper are used to create a portrait that can be enjoyed by future generations.
