~Dear Ancestor~ |
As Genealogists we have spent a lot of time researching in Libraries, Court Houses and Cemeteries. One of our favorite activities is cleaning and photographing headstones of our lost relatives.
The
photo above is of Darrell cleaning a stone to photograph for an elderly distant cousin who lives 1000 miles away and will never be able to personally view the headstone of her grandfather.
Our travels for research take us to many places looking for all of the delightful, vintage goodies we offer for auction and in our store.
We try to concentrate our buying to things that really interest us and might
help you connect with a long lost ancestor, such as vintage postcards, old
photographs, and other paper resources. We try to include any names or
places that will help bring families together.
We also collect and sell Vintage fishing lures, reels and paraphernalia; Vintage and Contemporary Barbie and other dolls; Vintage clothing and accessories as well as a large stock of Vintage Sewing Patterns.
We now have a better reason for the name. Darrell has gone to work on an as call basis for a local funeral home. So he is really spending a lot of time in cemeteries.
