I've been selling on ebay for 9 years now, and have always enjoyed a 100% feedback score, i.e., I have NEVER had one negative UNTIL -

a few months ago I sold an item to a newly registered young girl in the U.S.A.

I posted the item on the very SAME DAY of payment & was quite proud of myself for getting it away so promptly considering it was an INTERNATIONAL transaction.

To my absolute horror, a few days later, I received a negative saying ÏTEM NOT RECEIVED". 

The girl didn't realise I was in Australia (despite clear  details regarding delivery of international parcels) and prematurely left feedback. 

She received the item the very next day, and despite her asking ebay to remove the negative, and myself writing numerous emails and being assured that my negative would be removed, I was finally advised that they weren't in a position to remove it as it contained no depravity or unacceptable wording.

eBay told me not to worry, it will only be there for the next 12 months.  When you've always had an impeccable record, this was very disheartening.

Nevertheless, I soldier on - and can't wait for July 2009, when my feedback should be reverted to its true status.
