I have been a model railway 'nut' for over 40 years and am interested in accumulating model railway material for building up and running my 00 3-rail layout. I don't just mean Hornby Dublo but anything from the lesser know manufacturers like;Hamblings, Reidpath, Jamieson, Gaity, Exley, etc. Correspondence from anyone with a similar interest, or if you're just curious, welcome. Any offers of information, materials or help gratefully received.
The Model Railway bits I sell are predominantly the left-overs from my Model Railway Shop or part of the last 40 year's accumulations! I am always interested in swaps, exchanges, trades (Call them what you will!) and wish to buy, or swap for, the bits I want.
And there's more!!
I am interested in all kinds of model railways and my own projects have included the following: LMS circa 1938 in EM, Wagon Building in 4mm Scale, Minimum space 009, 0 Gauge outdoors, building, repairing and restoring all sorts of models (Usually for other people!!).
I am married to the lovely Debra and have a wonderful family. I own a 1950s Triton motor bike, a 1967 Daimler called Daisy, I love real ale and listen to live music, particularly the blues. I think the Goons were wonderful and so was Monty Python.
