 SHIPPING NOTICE:

I'm currently shipping daily Monday - Friday.

Let me put in my 2 cents worth in regard to shipping:

In the interest of keeping shipping rates as reasonable as possible, many of my auctions offer 3 shipping options: Priority, Parcel Post, and UPS.

I don't like Parcel Post!  It's usually the cheapest but it can be very very slow. I'm in NY. Parcel Post to the west coast or TX often takes 3 - 4 weeks. The USPS website will tell you it takes 2 - 9 business days. That is rarely the case. It usually takes much longer. I even had a box going to a town about 80 miles away take 2 weeks to get there. Yes - thats 2 WEEKS! The USPS website said it would take 2-3 days.

I get several emails a week from buyers who chose Parcel Post asking the whereabouts of their boxes.

The USPS tracking system is no help. It usually states something to the effect that the U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper (me) to expect a package for mailing on a certain date but they do not guarantee that I actually dropped it off. What help is that?

As my Postmaster reminds me, these are Delivery Confirmation numbers, not tracking numbers. Whether we like it or not, the USPS rarely gives any tracking info until AFTER the package has a confirmed delivery. What good is that? It stinks but there's nothing I can do about it.

Buyers often question me as to whether or not I really did ship out their package because it's taking so long. Let me assure you that I did and can prove it.

You can verify the date I shipped an item out after you get the box by looking at the date on the shipping label. USPS will only accept items with that day's date on it.

I usually ship packages out within 2 business days of receiving a cleared payment. Most of the time it's within 24 hours if payment comes through by Thursday night. I don't ship on the weekend.

I almost always (99.99% of the time) print the label up through Paypal. The Paypal system automatically sends you an email when I do that giving you the Delivery Confirmation number and date shipped.

Please do not ask me for shipping information. With the exception of some UPS shipments, you already have it. If you think you didn't get the notice, check your bulk mail, your filters, check with Paypal, and make sure you have a valid Paypal email address. If after that you still can't find it, let me know.

If your item gets shipped UPS, sometimes the tracking # doesn't get forwarded with the Paypal notice. I don't know why. It's probably a glitch because Paypal does have it on file. If this happens to you, I'll be glad to give you that information.

For the record, I prefer UPS. They pick the boxes up here saving me time and gas. Insurance up to $100 is automatically included. Shipments to the west coast almost always get there faster than Parcel Post. The UPS tracking system is far superior to USPS. It shows every step of the journey and tells you when you can expect your package.

Shipping is ridiculously expensive. That's why I offer as many options as possible. But if you choose Parcel Post, be prepared to be patient.
