Chuck Dodds,

My real name is Charles Robert but most folk call me either of Sha, Sha Bob, Charley Bob, or just Chuck.  The last being preferred.  I have been in the Ebay buying and selling business for over six or seven years and started collecting glass some 30 years ago.  My wife Donna and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary on the 28th of July 2007.  We have three daughters who are all college graduates and with my fingers crossed I say they are off on their own and self supportive.  Donna and I have a great assortment of antique German and Belgium furniture along with collections of historical newspapers, Lionel train sets, knives, marbles, gold and silver bullion, coins both silver and gold, original artwork, knitting needles, marbles, glassware to include carnival, cut, civil war memorilbilia (I can't spell it),and art glass, and a large amount of cooking equipment.  I love to cook and that seems to be my real passion.  We live in the country south of Brownwood, Texas and I make about 400+ pounds of deer sausage each year both link and patty sausage.  I am 70 years old and my wife is only 53.  We remain active operating a insurance claims business and seem to work every day.  I started my adjusting career with General Motors as an MIC adjuster back in the 60's.  I am tired and holding on as long as I can! ha ha  I have really enjoyed doing the Ebay thing.  I really need to asart Ebaying more often and start getting rid of all this stuff.  I just don''t know where to start.  I guess because I didn't have it when I was a kid growing up n a cotton patch makes me try and hold on to all these tangibles.  I am a devout Christian and a firm believer that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.  I am a veteran.  I was among the first Airborne LLRP established in 1962.  I love my country and worship the men in uniform that risk their lives for our country.  I spent two and one half years in Bad Kreuznach Germany from 1960 to late 1962 in the 8th Sig Bn.  I was a cw (morse code) operator.  I miss my army friends a lot.  I would love to hear from any Ebayer who has the courage to read this little cronology of who I am to drop me a line and visit.  My doors are always open to those who have the same likes and loves that I have.  I live in he center of Texas ans as a matter of fact own the geographical Heart of Texas.  That is in a sense I do.  I have two acres next to the monument and have cornered the market iin selling it off one inch at a time.  i was raised poor and my mother always said we were not poor and we really wern't.  We had a great family and all of us kids have done well considering where we started.  My family of Gentry dates back to the revolutionary war and I am active in that geneology.  My mother was a DAR member before her passsing at 92 years.  That is enough said about me.  I try to be honest with every buyer or seller I come in contact with on Ebay and will make every effort to make each transaction right.  Sometimes I get a little slow in both buying and selling.  Those things happen when you get into the twilight years of life!  ha ha  I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 284 lbs. I have a great number of dear friends and some of which I have met on Ebay.  I would like to have more...always!   I guess enough is enough of this isn't it?
