Collecting is my world. I have been searching for eye catching, passionate, great deals my whole life. For as long as I can remember my parents would take me to antique malls, flea markets, and yard sales. They have a true passion for antiques and collecting, this is something I inherited. While they searched for their next treasure, I started my own little search for items which I would buy with my allowance. They lite the fire in me which has never gone out. Over the years my collecting has changed, mostly based on what is available on the market. Just as a consumer tastes and fads change, so must a collector. What is hot now might be found every where, but eventually it could be hard to find that one item you need to complete the collection. So, you put that collection to the side and start collecting something else, something you may have never thought of collecting before. Collecting is a treasure hunt, that is why I use a treasure chest in my logo. Hunting and searching for that special item at antique stores, shows, yard sales and flea markets use to take a lot of time, then there came Ebay.
I was introduced to Ebay in its early years. My brother really showed me how Ebay worked. I would watch as my brother and my parents would use Ebay to expand their collections. My wife and I wanted to try it, so we did, and we were hooked to online buying. We would find items we liked and wanted, and have my mother bid on those items using her account. I payed her and the items where shipped to my parents house. Soon after that my wife and I opened our first account with Ebay, just for buying to see how the whole process worked. We still went to antique shows, and flea markets, using Ebay for a price guide and research for items we liked. Then the big day came, we officially started selling on Ebay. We started slow, just selling as a hobby. The more knowledge and experience we gained, we opened our Ebay store Chadprix Pastiques. This just helped fuel our passion, not only were we searching for items for ourselves but we were shopping for the whole world.
