Charon's Spoils is technically a 'generalist' antique shop. Yet we assuredly specialize in certain areas. I am passionate about French sterling silver and find the research of the French table endlessly fascinating. We travel abroad frequently to find new additions to our inventory that you simply cannot live without. So please do add us to your favorites list!
A note on international transactions: every country has customs regulations that are specific to that country. We do not know them all. We want to do our best to optimize the reciept of your purchases; so please let us know of any special requirements of your country's customs department. Also, we conduct lawful business practices. Therefore we will not designate a commercial shipment as a 'gift' or 'commercial sample'. Hence, it's in your best interest to know the duty fees of your country, for which we are not responsible; and the best way to describe items to negotiate the customs process expediently. Lastly, your country may limit the insured value of your item. Charon's Spoils can not be responsible for value beyond that which country permits. Happily, we rarely experience damage or loss and this should be a non-issue.
