Turn Your Collection into Cash!

Many clients have asked me to sell duplicate examples from their collection, as well as complete collections they wish to liquidate in order to pursue other collecting interests.

I have a great deal of experience in buying and selling military items - pins, medals, patches, badges, wings, helmets, uniforms, flags, etc.

This is a tricky area, as an item must be carefully categorized, photographed and correctly described if it is to sell well. There is a huge difference in value between a pin manufactured in 1943 and one manufactured in 1948, and between one manufactured in Kansas City and one manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. I have all of the reference guides and can do this for you. People have mailed me items from across the country to list on eBay for them.

I am also in the process of liquidating several large estates, so you will see lots of general antiques in my listings. This is because my prices are fair and I do a very thorough job. Let's talk.

Civil War Collection

My dad, Joe Wagner, was an avid Civil War historian, conducting research full-time after his retirement, just for the enjoyment of it. His main interests were in personal accounts, such as letters and diaries, and the plight of the Civil War veterans in their struggle for medical benefits, etc. He managed to accumulate a massive Civil War collection. After his death, many of the high-profile items (uniforms and swords) were stolen - such is life. But, there remains a huge grouping of items to be sold - documents, corps badges, leather equipment, canteens, etc. The time-consuming part is sorting through all of this and trying to reassemble the groupings of items that all belonged to one person. This is harder when it is not clear what all was taken. But, please be patient and revisit my auctions - the stuff will all be listed on eBay.
